What Next?

In case anybody is wondering, it doesn't look like college is going to work out for me this year. But maybe that's not where God wants me at this point, because He's powerful enough to work a miracle and open the door for me to go to college if that's what He wants for me. But the door seems closed right now.

So, what am I going to do? Good question.... At this point there seems to be pretty much two options. Stay home (get a job, save money, be a Sunday School superintendent, be bored...) or go tour with a road team from Life Action Ministries (travel, get singing experience, learn to trust God, have fun, use the money I have saved up...).

What am I going to do? Which is the "right" choice? Well, I can't claim to know, but I decided to go ahead and apply to Life Action. However, I'm praying that if it isn't God's will, He will shut the door.

So that's what I've been working on recently. First, I applied. Then they contacted me and sent me some more stuff to fill out. Now, I'm in the process of making two audition CDs--one audition for singer and one for violinist. I could probably do both on one of their teams.

The exciting thing is, Life Action is a revival ministry "dedicated to getting beyond the surface of people’s lives to the core of what matters." They exist "to ignite movements of authentic Christianity." The cool thing is, one of their teams is coming to our area at the end of May and holding a revival summit. So I'm going to get to experience this first hand before possibly joining them. And I'm praying for revival in our county, in our nation, in my life. God is up to something and I want to be a part of it.

No, I haven't given up on college yet. Maybe next year the door will open for me to go into vocal training.

Needless to say, I'm a little bit busy right now with, school, graduation preparations, two auditions, and a youth orchestra concert this Sunday! But God is able to keep me going!
