What have I been up to lately? Well, writing a talk for graduation recognition Sunday, staying up half the night working on it and worrying about it, and then giving it at church today. At least it went well. :)
I actually had to do a speech for my English course and this is what my mom came up with to do. Let me tell you, I was so thrilled to do it in front of 80+ people... not really actually. Rather unexcited overall. But it did make the most sense. And I really wasn't horribly nervous once I started talking.
Anyway, I decided to upload it here -- might as well since I went through all that work. I'll admit, it was written rather last-minute which is why I was still working on it in the early morning hours when all sane people are sound asleep. That's right, I am slightly insane at times...
Anyway, here is the audio of my "speech." It's really not a video, but it would only let me upload it in a video format, so I just had to put on a beautiful black screen background.
Well, not too bad after all I guess... Here's my confession though: I edited out about five "ummms" and doctored out a few stumbles... just slightly modified. haha. What can I say? "Ummm" is an extremely useful time-filler when you don't have a clue what in the world you're saying and where in the world you are...
btw, I'm going to try to finish my school by the end of this week, one week before my graduation. Fun fun.
